Driving back from Catania last night about midnight, the lava river was exceptionally visible from the crater down to where it appeared to fork.

I confirm from Giarre lava river seems very long, much more than expected by a so quiet eruption.
Perspective distance from first lights of Zafferana is very short but effectively after a fast and precise dive inside Valle del Bove lava river then spreads wide and looses all his strenght.
