Best greetings to mr. and mrs. Fröde who where two times lucky. They had an eruption running for all days they have been there and they meet mr. Beck who was in hotel, too.
We just are sorry dr. Henning couldn’t come here this year but we reserve him our best greetings and hope to have him here with another great eruption.
About my Sunday’s excursion photos I am sorry I wasn’t able to collect all images, yet. We had some ‘victims’ of ten hours walking Piano Provenzana 1800m-Bottoniera 2800m so I couldn’t meet all photo makers.
Luckly mr. Beck offered me possibility to publish some of his night photos of eruption and the one you see in todays’ new offered by our special guest.
Last note, Etna is not just lava. Etna is also life. Mr. Becks this year paid attention also to Etna flora and fauna. You can admire one shoot of his photo safari.

we were happy in several ways. We saw our first Etna eruption, we met Oliver Beck who is a nice guy indeed, we enjoyed the beauty of nature there, and last but not least we found real kind hosts in Hotel Corsaro, which we liked very much.
We hope to meet You and Mongibello again as soon as possible.
