the new main picture of the “Corsaro”-site is amazing! Unbelievable so much snow – great shot!!! I would be just afraid of being their with a rental car without snow tires…
Otherwise it would be a nice experience… almost as impressive as an eruption ;-)!

…and infact I often discourage people from other countries than italy who wish to come here in winter time.
It’s a wondeful experience to sky with sea in front and on an active volcano. It is also impossible to organize, unluckly. No snow tyres available on rented car, no chains, too.
Winter time remains limited to local tourism.
Sorry I would like to say “…being there…” but I guess everyone understood what I wanted to say ;-)… maybe it was too late yesterday evening…
I wish you plenty of snow and a lot of fun skiing Mount Etna – indeed fantastic :-)!
